Here is my very simple FREE abstract painting course:

Materials Required:
Some acrylic paint, a brush, and a canvas. You may substitute wood for the canvas, or any found object that you want to paint on. You may substitute the brush with sponges or anything else that you think will lay paint.

Start anyway that gets you to start. Things will just come out and evolve. Get some paints and canvas and just do it, if it is something that you will enjoy.

You can start out realistic. Or, you can choose your favorite color ...paint one line then look at it and let it talk to you. Then it will tell you what else to paint. Lines and colors do talk abstractly.

And listen to some music too...the music will go in your ear...roll around your brain a bit ...trickle down your neck, shoulder, into your arm them flow through your hand into the brush and onto the canvas.
